Madmen: a show with all the spaceage fashions, furniture, office politics, old fashioned cocktails, beatniks, sex, city glamour and intrigue a retro lover could ever ask for! I can't believe I have never watched it before! There is a marathon on AMC today. Now that I am watching it, it is especially significant to me since it takes place in the year before I was born. As far as the cultural references, it seems to ring true, especially with the "What do women want?" "Who Cares?" sexism and machismo of the times.
