I had to share pictures from my recent visit to Aunt Katie's Attic, an Amsterdam, NY kitsch and kitchenware shop that is beyond superb! Hubby and I had a blast perusing the rows on rows of kitchen items, vintage clothing and furniture from the 20s-70s!
Here are some more views of our trip:
If you ever plan, as the song says, to "motor west," check out this retro gem on Route 5S in Amsterdam, NY! Or, visit her online at:Aunt Katie's Attic

This is the shop of my dreams! Except I own it, of course. ;)
You own Aunt Katie's Attic?!?!?!
Or, you mean you own a store just like it?
hehe, I mean I own a store just like it in my dreams! ;)
Awesome store!!! Fun hubby!!!!
Lisa,
I agree with both, thank you!
The hubby keeps me laughing. That's why I love him!
Loving your blog (though it takes a longgggg time to load for me) and will have to check out that place (I'm in Greene County via NYC).

I love that shop!!!!! I will go one day!!!
Okay, I think I would feel like I had died and gone to heaven in that shop. Wow!
Oh hello!
I just strutted around the web and came upon this boldish man in a turban! Imagine my surprise to see it was my turban he was wearing! Oh my. I get such a kick when fellow vintagettes come in for some good old fashioned FUN! The giggles and belly laughs are worth all of the hard work it takes to keep the shop chock full of affordable funky finds. AND, I am so flattered you took the time to add me to your blog. I am aunt katie and I love for you to come and play. Retrogirl rocks,(hubby too you look totally mod in those glasses...).Let me know when you come in again, there's a little treat in it for you. Visit me online www.auntkatiesattic.com or my new blog (retrogirl got me started).
Be good to each other and the earth.
