Meet Alyssa Starelli, founder of The MCM League , a non-profit dedicated to saving Portland, Oregon Googie and Mod architecture. She is also a realtor for time-capsule mid-century mod homes in Portland. Love it, love it, love it!!! Hubby and I attended an estate sale where the house still had all of its original retro goodness including gold glitter vinyl upholstered breakfast nook booth with gold boomerang patterned table. Even guys get it!

What a nice blog! I'm a baby boomer and love the 50's/60's too. Great graphics and I have a black Kit Kat Clock in my bedroom now. When I was growing up, I had a pink one (electric) with rhinestones. Wish I still did! Thanks for following my blog and making me feel welcome in blogland.

Yes, houses can be affordable here, but I pick out the reasonable ones, because everyone deserves a dream home. Ours just happen to be vintage gems!
