We went to the Middleburgh, NY outdoor flea market today, where I scored a set similar to the one above for--wait for it--$11! I have never seen a set like it in any of my Fireking books, or in any antique store for that matter. I also bought a yellow rose tin match holder for $3, a walnut and marble-topped Victorian table for $60, and some vintage advertising crates with great graphics for $5 each. It was a good day.

Yum!!
a fabulous day indeed :)
I am new to the retro bloggy world and I'm having so much fun reading so many retro blogs. These cups are so awesome. Makes me wish I kept all the dishes my mom used when we were little. Great walk down memory lane, thanks for sharing!!
Whoah! I'd buy this in a heartbeat. AND.. would use the heck out of it in the winter!!
Very nice ;-). I normally try to go to flea markets 1-2 times per month... some of the stuff I've found are absolutely insane!
Thank you!

We have buildings downtown in our small city filled with estate sales. There's one building with at least 3-4 floors full of furniture, kitchen dishes and appliances and so much more. I'm so ready to go there again to find something retro. I'm almost certain I saw these kind of cups too.
