Covet=Love

I want this for my kitchen--even though the house the kitchen is in is 100 years old.

Found here: Modern Tulip Dining Set, at Vintage Looks. And hey--there's free shipping!

It's so Jetsons! I love it!

Isn't it? It just has that futuristic look to it, yet it is still so classic.

Hey there, did you just win a pair of paint by number roses paintings from me at auction? How many retro mod girls can there be out there? ;)

Yep, Mitzi, that was me! I just sent payment, they are lovely! I collect pbn paintings, couldja tell? Thank you!

Yay! You are going to love these, they are really well done. I would have had them in the mail by now, but we had a packing peanut debacle (as in, I didn't realize I needed to order more until it was too late!). All is well now though, and they should go out when the mailman comes tomorrow!

I hate those peanut debacles, lol! Thanks very much, Mitzi! ♥

That's a great idea. I love the eclectic look. You can use color to marry the two elements together.

I agree, Candace. My kitchen is already red and white.

Thank you for the awesome link. I truly believe in Feng Shui. It makes such a difference! I wish more architects of houses would use that principle.

HA!!!!! I have one lone chair like this!!!

My mom and dad had that exact set in their kitchen in the 1970s! The only difference was that the seat cushions in their chairs were lime green.

OMG, Claire, did you actually grow up with a set like this?!?! What was that like?

I grew up with a table/chair kitchen set made of aluminum, smoky gray plexiglas, and geometric-patterned vinyl that was beyond hideous. I bet it would be really collectible now, however!
